Welcome to the Club

Leslye’s friends have in the past few years produced a bunch of baby boys. This month, some of mine went the other way and had girls. Congrats to a trio of December babies: Casey Mae Elizabeth (daughter of Andrew and Gen), Andrea Soren (daughter of Genehack and his better half) and, most recently, Ella Mae (daughter of Chris and Barb Winters). Casey Mae and Ella are first kids, while Andrea already has an older sister.

As for our little girl, she’s enjoying her first Christmas (photos soon) and visiting her family in Pennsylvania, despite a bit of a cold. She is well past 14 pounds, according to the UPS scale at a hardware store in Kutztown, Pa. (a weighing of opportunity, you could call it) and has been working on things like waving to us. Who knows what the new years holds for her?
