News about a study that found that women tend to underreport the number of sexual partners they have had: “You would assume that when a heterosexual man has sex, a woman is having sex at the same time, but the statistics always suggest otherwise,” said psychologist Terri Fisher, one of the researchers. When hooked up to a lie detector, women’s answers nearly doubled in size, while men’s remained pretty much the same.
