Some of the same trial lawyers who took on American tobacco companies are now mounting a case against al-Qaeda for the September 11 attacks, according to a riveting story in the Charleston Post and Courier. “This case is more invigorating and intellectually intense than anything I’ve ever worked on,” said Ronald Motley, who has battled asbestos and tobacco companies over billions of dollars. “This is something in which I believe very deeply, if not devoutly.”
